New Haven Jazz Underground: Tuesday Night Jazz Jam

The New Haven Jazz Underground is a grass roots community based organization dedicated to producing concerts, clinics and jam sessions all in the name of Jazz in the great city of New Haven, CT. NHVJU is committed to preserving the city's vibrant jazz scene and history, while also providing employment for local musicians, support for local businesses, and partnership to the community through social interaction and activism.

Join them at Cafe Nine on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month as they host the Tuesday Night Jazz Jam. Enjoy a live set from a rotating band comprised of national, international, and local talent at 7 PM. After the band's set, an open jam commences at 8 PM. Bring your instrument, hit the sign-up sheet, and jam with some of the best musicians in Connecticut and beyond. Or sit back with a cold drink and enjoy the music.
