Trashing Violet

Trashing Violet burst into the New England rock scene in 2020 with its angst-kissed, adrenaline-fueled brand of rock n’ roll –– multi-layered guitar riffs; plumped up, punk bass lines and drums, and fierce, passionate vocals.

The band — lead vocalist/ guitarist Marisa B, bassist Doug E, and drummer Nick D, and lead guitarist Niles W — draws inspiration from all the Gen X goodness of ‘90s rock and ‘80s pop, culminating in a never-dull live show.

Modern Refuge

Modern Refuge has carved out a unique space in the vibrant music scene of Connecticut and has quickly become one of the most exciting, must-see live acts around. Rooted in an intimate folk-rock sensibility, Modern Refuge expands their sound into a sweeping, cinematic landscape, punctuated by anthemic choruses and prog-rock flourishes. Their chemistry and spirit harks back to the high-energy acts of the 70s.

They have opened for international touring acts including Collective Soul, Sammy Hagar and The Circle, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Talk, and Rozzi.

Their debut album, Runaway Dream, was released on August 1, 2025.  It received high praise with critics remarking "It’s an album you don’t just hear — you feel it in your chest, in the back of your throat, in the long quiet moments after it ends. Modern Refuge has created something special here: a dream you’ll want to fall back into again and again" (Syncho Agency) and ' “Wave Empire” is the first time (but not the last!) when Winfield reminded me of Stevie Nicks, and in fact the song has a Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac sound, like a more interesting version of “Dreams.” ' (Pitch Perfect)

Illuminous
