Ashy Finn

Ashy Finn is the solo project of Ash Finnegan, a Boston-based musician and songwriter who has evolved from a solo artist into a full-band act

Solgyres

Solarpunk reggae band out of New Haven, CT, Solgyres embarked on their musical odyssey when siblings Scott (bass guitar and vocals) and Skyelyn Bernier (keys and vocals) began writing and recording together in 2020. Rooted in a lifetime of reggae, jazz, and other influences, they developed a sound defined by pulsating bass lines and lush harmonies. After relocating to Storrs, CT, the duo expanded into a movement, growing into a creative force with Zach Neuneker (drums), Jake Russell (rhythm guitar and vocals), Lucia Magnuson (vocals), and Logan Tichnor (lead guitar). Their early performances at UConn and across New England energized the underground scene, establishing their presence as a band redefining reggae fusion. Their horn section, anchored by third sibling Spencer "Bez" Bernier (trumpet), Ryan Adams (tenor sax), and Frank DeCrescenzo (trombone), quickly became central to the Solgyres sound, shaping their self-produced 14-track debut album released in 2024, featuring a vocal appearance by G. Love on the track "Immortal." With Micah McLeary (percussion) joining in 2025, Solgyres now stands as a 10-piece musical powerhouse. They have since released four singles ahead of their 2026 album.

Horrendous Downplay

“Horrendous Downplay” began as a pet name for Elvin Tanoy’s (drums) experiments in music, but through creative collaboration with Star Bannister (vocals), Jack Shi (guitar), John Kuang (keys/synth), and Marialé Modesto (bass), it quickly blossomed into something greater. Their dynamic range of music spans from mellow, dramatic folk ballads to unapologetically passionate rock anthems, all while remaining loyal to Tanoy’s experimental and electronic roots.
