Sea Shanty Night returns to Cafe Nine! This time we are excited to bring you the music & musings of the one & only Jackson Gillman. My Druthers had the opportunity to perform with him last year at the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival and he kinda knocked our socks off. We like to think we are high-energy, somewhat performative sea shantymen…well let me tell ya this dude takes it to another level!

“The stand-up chameleon,” better known as Jackson Gillman, has been educating & entertaining audiences for decades, and is one of the more unique maritime performers I have encountered in my travels. Think storyteller, humorist, theatrical professional, shantyman, and…anything else that lends credence to his status as a true sage of the stage. The guy does it all, and is simply a joy to witness in his element. We Druthers are stoked as hell to be rocking with him. See ya in the pints!
