Sandman Sleeps

Besides being known for an overall captivating performing presence, the music of Sandman Sleeps (name derived from 90’s creepy/quirky cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog) has been described as song-based and cerebral with a melancholia charge.

The band first came to fruition in Nashville, TN (2009) propelled by sisters - Cristina (vocals, guitar) and Alex Peck (bass) then to be set aside until the siblings reconvened nearly a decade later, joined by member Zack Jones (guitar, vocals).  Facing a large catalog of songs written throughout the years, the narrowed down version became the content of their debut album 'Crisis Actor’ (2021) released as a four piece with previous member, Karsten Andersen (drums).  By the end of 2023, Joey Mason (drums) joined Sandman and currently the band is recording their second album inspired by the Strawberry Moon of June 2022.

Modern Refuge

Modern Refuge is an indie alt-rock band that has carved out a unique space in Connecticut's music scene.  Their sound cleverly combines folk intimacy with psych-rock sprawl, and tightly woven indie melodies that rise into orchestral build-ups harking back to the high-energy acts of the 70s.  Known for cathartic, high-energy performances, they bring a raw intensity that's quickly earning them a reputation as a must-see act.

With their full-length debut studio album on the horizon for Summer 2025, they are generating a groundswell of support and excitement.
