Maidenhead
Maidenhead is a Massachusetts/Rhode island-based thrash/death metal band formed in 2013, blending the razor-sharp aggression of classic thrash with the technical brutality and atmosphere of old-school death metal. Influenced by genre-defining acts such as Megadeth, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Death, the band's sound is built on high-velocity riffing, progressive songwriting, and uncompromising lyrical themes delivered through intense, high-impect live performances.
The band was founded by Zack Roberts (guitar/Backing Vocals), serves as Maidenhead's primary songwriter and principal lyricist. Across both of the band's full-length releases, Roberts has written or co-written the majority of the music and lyrics, establishing the band's creative direction and thematic identity. Following the release of the debut album, Decapitation of a Maiden (2023). Maidenheed expanded beyond the New England underground, earning festival placements and support opportunities alongside internationally recognized and legacy acts including Artillery, D.R.I, Prong, Pyrexia, Deceased, and Blood Feast. The band has since built a multi-state touring footprint across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York. New Jersey, New Hampshire. Vermont, Maine, virginia, and California, performing in major markets such as Boston, Providence, New York City, Worcester, and the greater Los Angeles area. In 2025, Maidenhead completed their first multi-city California tour, performing in San Jose, Santa Cruz, Oakland, Pomona, East Hollywood, and Los Angeles, marking a significant milestone in their transition into a bi-coastal touring act.
The band's forthcoming full-length album, Maximum Clonage, represents a major evolution in both scope and production. Mixed by legendary producer Randy Burns, the record features Rich Gray (Annihilator) on bass on 6 out of 8 tracks, with guest guitar appearances from Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth) on "Kill Or Be Killed" and Glen Drover (ex-Megadeth, ex-King Diamond) on "False Masked Hero." The album also introduces Vance Simmons (guitar) and zeping ‘Bella’ Song (vocals) in their first studio performances with the band.
On December 25, 2025, Maidenhead released the first single from the album. “Death March,” and On June 26th 2026 the second single, ‘Magia Obscura’ was released across all major streaming platforms. With a growing national footprint, high-profile collaborators, and a clearly defined creative leadership, Maidenhead continues to advance toward major festival stages, national tour support opportunities and label partnerships.
6Five6
Connecticut-based metal outfit 6Five6 was originally founded in 2020 as the brainchild of bassist Rich Villalobos and guitarist Kai Stone, shortly after the two had met on Bandmix and started jamming together on a joke project. Spending the next couple of years refining their sound and settling on a solid lineup, the band has since gained a reputation as a rising powerhouse well outside of their regional base.
With a sonic identity that builds on the foundations laid by New Wave Of American Heavy Metal legends from Slayer and Slipknot — whose work most of the band’s members have already interpreted as part of tribute act Slapknutz, the evolution of Rich and Kai’s joke project — to Exodus, Korn, As I Lay Dying and beyond, 6Five6’s hard-hitting, cohesive signature sound has remained unmistakeable across a host of gigs at local institutions to date.
Now, keeping momentum at an all-time high as a diverse and growing group of fans lie hungry in wait for the band’s next moves, 6Five6 remain hard at work putting the finishing touches on their debut EP, slated for official announcement Soon alongside a slew of tour dates and other live performances across the country.
