Inspired by OMD, Ultravox, and Depeche Mode, among many others, Model Kit is a collaboration between three Northeast-US songwriters: Brian Larney, David Provolo, and Peter Rivera. Together, Model Kit aims to conjure stripped down, 80’s-inflected original music strong on soaring melodies, retro-synth layers, and danceable beats. You can find their initial releases on all streaming platforms where they have already amassed north of 80,000 streams thus far.

The September Cafe Nine show is not only their CT debut, but also a release party for their first CD.

Opening for Model Kit will be synth-pop artist extraordinaire Falconeer and darkwave/industrial duo Midnight Psychic.
