From the crumbling industrial edges of a dying industrial city King In Yellow emerges like a fever dream in monochrome — a rock n roll exorcism wrapped in feedback and echo. Formed by long-time collaborators Kyle McDonough and Nick Vining, the band roars with discontent, nostalgia, and defiance, channeling their collective unrest into a sound that claws its way through shoegaze haze, noise rock distortion, and new wave gloom. Theirs is not a sound of comfort — it’s a confrontation. A soundtrack for the slow unraveling of everything we once believed was permanent.

New Haven Ravens

Named for the since defunct minor league baseball team, the New Haven Ravens toe the line between hard rock and metal.  Members Walker Destroismaisons, Brendan Galvin, Steve Hill, Jesse Labranche and Trevor White bring an eclectic array of influences to the table, incorporating sounds from bands such as Lamb of God, The Sword, King Gizzard, Velvet Revolver, Queens of the Stone Age and Led Zeppelin.  Fantastical themes of murderous witches, vengeful demigods, and evil spells blend with a sonic assault of guitar riffs, drum wizardry, and the haunting and brutal vocal stylings of Labranche.  With ties to local staples Wolf Harbor, Strawberry Cheesesteak, Samsara, and Head With Wings, the Ravens are sure to be a New Haven favorite!
