Kennebec
Kennebec is the creative vessel of composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Eric Phillips, whose work delivers a lush, genre-bending symphonic blend of globally inspired American chamber-folk, ambient jazz, neo-soul, new age, and alternative hip-hop.
Following collaborations with artists such as Samuel T. Herring, Sudan Archives, Yazz Ahmed, Joe Armon-Jones and Alfa Mist, having shared the stage with the likes of grammy-winning Arooj Aftab, Kevin Morby, Joep Bevinng —and working on soundtracks for acclaimed projects like The Holdovers and Barack Obama’s Netflix series Working—Phillips returns with The Water Wheel (out November 7), a conceptually rich third album exploring impermanence, love, and the cycles of time. The record is both a cathartic celebration of life and a soothing balm for turbulent times.
