Justice Cow

Jessica Kion is a rare type of artist who doesn’t shy away from accessing the full range and depth of the human experience. Some of her songs and videos will make you laugh, some will make you cry, some will teach you, some will fill you with hope, and some will make you dance. Jessica is perhaps best known for her work with Bent Knee, although she has contributed as a session musician on numerous projects. She has also released a handful of albums under the moniker Justice Cow.

Olive Tiger (solo)

Olive Tiger is an evolution of sound and texture: a nontraditional rock trio that lushly combines electronics with organic elements of chamber-pop, defying the boundaries of genre in favor of obsessive exploration. Olive Tiger features an unusual collection of instrumentation featuring Olive (cello, guitar, vocals), Jesse Newman (violin, synths, electronics), and John McGrath (drums, percussion).

The group’s sophomore collection, a series of EPs titled Softest Eyes, continues the expansion of their sound palette with Side C. Softest Eyes: Side Cfeatures distinctly-crafted tracks ranging from disarmingly sunny to alluringly moody, drawing from a full and complex range of human experiences.

Olive Tiger has shared the stage with a growing roster of notable musicians including Dirty Projectors, Kishi Bashi, Xenia Rubinos, and Kyp Malone (of TV on the Radio), and has garnered growing attention for its work. The band was named Emerging Artist of the Month by The Deli Magazine, and received a nomination for Best in State for the New England Music Awards. Olive Tiger was also honored with an Artist Excellence Fellowship Award from The Connecticut Office of the Arts.

Softest Eyes: Side C is for fans of St. Vincent, Sylvan Esso, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, and Angel Olsen.

The Modifieds

The Modifieds, formed December 18, 2014 in Ansonia CT...originally forming as an acoustic act trio until becoming a duo Zac and Blue traveled up and down CT performing at small venues, bars, pubs, and coffeeshops.  October 20th 2016 The Modifieds first stepped foot into the recording studio, NL Studio (Milford CT) to begin the recording process of People You Can Count On.  The recording process took about 2 months to finish and then over the next year they worked on the mixes and masters and extra tracking until it was finally released on March 26th 2018 which came out while The Modifieds were on their first New England Tour.  In December 2017 Ian Goncalo joined The Modifieds as a drummer/percussionist.  Now The Modifieds are currently working on their follow up record which is being recorded in Portland CT by CT's own Michael Cleary from the Michael Cleary Band.
