Zach Andersen
After breaking his neck, all Zach Andersen could do during the recuperation process was play video games and learn to play guitar. Once he was all healed, he jokingly thought it would be fun to write his own songs. A few minutes later, this joke turned into a new passion and the formation of The Andersen Brothers (or something like that). Along with his brother, Eric, Zach took the local music scene by storm with their catchy, relatable and nostalgic songs. Their first album, "Unrequited Daze", was released in 2011 and contained crowd favorite "However Hard She Tries" and several other TAB classics. While TABoslt is on hiatus, Zach continues to write and record song after song, album after album, releasing 3 studio albums, 3 live albums, and 7 singles over the past decade. You can also see Zach perform solo acoustic at all your favorite intimate venues, busy streets, packed conventions, or from the comfort of your computer screen.
In addition to music, Zach is also an award winning music video editor, concert series creator, promoter, booker, videographer, photographer, and host.
Matt Numa (Postcards from Cincinatti)
Following the infamous Thanksgiving Fiasco of ‘78, WKRP DJ Johnny Fever received a demo from an anonymous local musician labeled ‘Cincinnati Thanksgiving Blues’. He gave it a listen and was instantly hooked. He played the song on the station one afternoon and the song became such a hit, that Cincinnati is the only city where Alice’s Restaurant isn’t the number one song in November. The originator remained a mystery.
Following Fever’s retirement and the closure of WKRP, the demo was swept under the rug and subsequently forgotten. 46 years later, it somehow ended up many miles away in CT, falling into the lap of the Christmas obsessed Matt Numa. He was hooked when he first listened, and gave it his own spin alongside his Christmas tunes. He had no idea who sent this to him or how it got to him, but the holiday setlist he created gave him an idea. He said to himself, “If Trans-Siberian Orchestra & Mannheim Steamroller can do it, why can't I?"
For a guy who’s never been to Cincinnati, he will never forget the postcard that fate brought to him. Thus creating the new holiday exclusive collective.
