Genre Is Death

While comparisons to Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore and Teenage Jesus and the Jerks are inevitable and quite welcome, Genre is Death build’s on NYC’s legacy without repeating it. The pair have played toured with Gogol Bordello and played gigs with Cherubs, Bush Tetras, and Jon Spencer. In 2026 Genre is Death will be playing Goner Fest, opening up for A Place to Bury Strangers and Thee Oh Sees’ John Dwyer. Their upcoming record 'Attractive People', recorded by legendary sound producer Martin Bisi.

The Art Gray Noizz Quintet

is spearheaded by twisted Australian guitar legend STU-ART GRAY, most notoriously known as STU SPASM of LUBRICATED GOAT, CRUNT, and THE BEASTS OF BOURBON. The man's wayward path through the flashpoints of New York noise, Seattle grunge, and Australian swamp-rock history is well-represented in the Quintet's sound - chaos with a cinematic edge.  Sharing stages with kindred spirits such as THE SCIENTISTS, UNSANE, KID CONGO POWERS, and MUDHONEY got the attention of audiences early on. Catching the eye of legendary no-wave queen LYDIA LUNCH led to joining forces onstage for ongoing musical misadventures, and a collaboration between the two as their latest release - a two fisted 10" single out now on IN THE RED RECORDS
