Brooklyn–based guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Dida Pelled has a particular talent for storytelling. A jazz prodigy by training, Dida's music has expanded into a rich cross-genre world. Her latest album, Love of the Tiger, reimagines old torch traditions with unexpected, genre-bending twists. She leads a monthly residency at Ornithology Jazz Club in Bushwick and hosts The Dida Show on Radio Free Brooklyn, where her guests have included artists ranging from Cécile McLorin Salvant to Cassandra Jenkins. Pelled has released both acclaimed jazz records and original singer-songwriter albums.
