Desert Sharks

Brooklyn-based Desert Sharks are known for their heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and high-energy performances. Often compared to female-led heavy hitters such as Veruca Salt, L7, and Sleater-Kinney, Desert Sharks bring a unique sound with a doom-infused twist to the grunge-punk genre. Their powerful live shows are known to be energetic, urgent, and loud. In March 2024, Desert Sharks released their new split EP, DS + AVSE. In 2023 they put out their highly praised EP, The Tower. Both albums were released on Substitute Scene Records. Desert Sharks are currently writing a new EP slated for release in 2025

Qween Kong

Qween Kong is a heavy hitting, punk group from New Haven, Connecticut that was formed in 2021. Their debut EP, Cockroach, delivers kicking melodies, noisy, larger-than-life rhythm, and a thunderous low end. With Cara DeLucia on lead vocals and bass, Gillian Basilicato on vocals and guitar, and Melody McCarthy on drums, Qween Kong is a high-octane, powerhouse trio that’ll cut right the fuck through ya.
