Chuck
Prophet • San Francisco based musician Chuck Prophet

college rock stalwarts Green on Red, with whom he was featured
on numerous albums and touring lineups. For his latest album,
he and his band ventured to Mexico City to record the follow-up
to 2007's "boundaryless" (New Yorker) album Soap & Water
and encountered a swine flu pandemic, an earthquake, electric
brownouts, and crashing hard drives. They emerged with the
hard-hitting, broad-ranging album "Let Freedom Ring!",
which was released October 27. |

Manic
Productions Presents: Pierced
Arrows; w/ Lullabye
Arkestra • After the demise of underground legends DEAD
MOOD in fall 2006, nobody was surprised to hear that founders
Fred and Toody Cole had lost little time in starting a new
band. They recruited drummer Kelly Halliburton in April 2007,
and soon the PIERCED ARROWS were up and running, playing
live shows in the Northwest and recording songs for upcoming
releases. PIERCED ARROWS picks up, musically, where DEAD
MOON left off - a lo-fi assault on the senses played with
the sincerity and feeling that made DM such a special band
for all of their fans around the world. |

Jon Spencer (Pussy Galore, Jon Spencer Blues, Boss Hog) has destroyed and rebuilt American roots music with such ferocity and wild abandon it is
hard to believe that there is anything left. Matt Verta-Ray (Bo, Madder Rose, Speedball Baby) grew up in the loving arms of left wing parents who would take him to folk
and blues shows long before he sprouted sideburns. Matt is also the mad scientist behind the jungle of tube amps and old-school echo machines that
form the mutated nucleus of his analog cave, world-class recording studio NY Hed, where musicians come from all over the galaxy to get. |

its greatest new rock bands over the last decade, fully embrace
the best characteristics of their generation’s genre-bending,

methodologies, however, only serve as means to a greater
end for Ed Anderson, the sublime songwriter who’s the voice

mix the fuzz-guitar and Farfisa organ sounds of that genre
with rockabilly, ’50s and ’60s R&B, and surf into a potent
retro stew the group likes to call “Super Rock.” Steve Wynn
is a songwriter based in New York (born in California). He
led the influential band the Dream Syndicate from 1981 to
1989 and afterward began a solo career. He will be playing
with his band 'the Miracle 3'. A MUST SEE! |
